Armémuseum - the Army Museum popular

'Junibacken is a world for children. The building is full of tales and mischief in Villekulla cottage and children’s stories where Sweden’s best-loved children’s characters come to life. The first place is the Storybook square, home to many of the best-loved figures in Swedish storybooks, elves and trolls, the children of Frostmofjället mountain, the famed detective, Ture Sventon and little Alfie Atkins. There is a Story train, bookshop and also a café and restaurant.'

Birka Vikingastaden - Birka - the Viking town

Botaniska Trädgården - Uppsala University Botanical Gardens

Founded in 1655 and is the oldest botanical gardens in Sweden. About eleven thousands species and cultivars are under cultivation. The sections are economic plants, rock and arid gardens, stone troughs, peat beds, annual beds and areas for research and education. There is an orangery with a Tropical Greenhouse with species from the warmer climatic zones.

'The butterfly house is comprised of 800 square metres of tropical environment and has about 400 butterflies of numerous different species. The museum also includes a Birdhouse with 100 birds of about 40 different species that fly freely in the subtropical environment. The museum also includes about 300 sq.m. large Winter garden with Mediterranean climate and an Asian Garden with Asian, Chinese and Japanese influences.'
