Birka was a trading port twelve hundred years ago and became Sweden's first town. Birka and Hovgården is listed as World Heritage. Today Birka is a popular site for excursions. The website consist of information for visitors, The Birka Museum, Seasonal program, History of Birka and Excavations.

Björkborn Manor was Alfred Nobel's last home in Sweden and here is also the Nobel Museum. Here you also will his laboratory where he made a great many inventions. The castle is a well-known building in Sweden. It has an history of over 800 years. This site gives information about the history of the castle, construction, opening hours.
