Exhibitions on three floor. On three floor of the building, the visitors will start go on a pilgrimage through Swedish history, the Viking era, the Middle Ages, the Thirty Years War, Sweden's "Age of Greatness", Swedish Carolinians and the 19th century . The second floor is devoted to the 20th century and e.g. the Swedish neutrality. On the ground floor Exhibit of the history and development of artillery through the ages.

'Junibacken is a world for children. The building is full of tales and mischief in Villekulla cottage and children’s stories where Sweden’s best-loved children’s characters come to life. The first place is the Storybook square, home to many of the best-loved figures in Swedish storybooks, elves and trolls, the children of Frostmofjället mountain, the famed detective, Ture Sventon and little Alfie Atkins. There is a Story train, bookshop and also a café and restaurant.'

In Swedish only. Fröderyd was Lina Sandell’s childhood home which was the parsonage of her father, Jonas Sandell, pastor of the parish. Each room in the home spoke of piety and simplicity. As a young woman Lina accompanied her father on a boat trip to Gothenburg. In that voyage Jonas fell overboard and drowned before Lina's eyes. Two years later her mother also died. These tragedies inspired Lina Sandell to write her well loved hymns as Blott en dag (Day by Day) and Tryggare kan ingen vara (Children of the Heavenly Father). Lina Sandell vrote over 2,500 hymns.

The 'Alströmerska magasinet' was built by Jonas Alströmer in the beginning of 1730-talet.

The Anten - Gräfsnäs Railway is a narrow-gauge 12 km long. There are several steam-locomotives in running entirely by volunteers.

Exhibitions of Swedish architecture

Only in Swedish. The Homestead Museum is located in the old vicarage at the place where the parish of Arvidsjaur was founded in 1609 by a decision of King Karl IX.

The center runs an exhibition program of contemporary arts in the Björkander's Warehouse in Visby.

Shows how railways were built and how railway technology has developed through the years. Exhibit of a 300-year old railway wagon from a mine in Bergslagen, several model railways, an inspection coach built in 1866, and other objects from railway history. Including a play shed for children.

On the site of the former Helsingborg Battery of the Swedish Coastal Artillery.

In Swedish only. Shows botanical gardens with over 9000 plants. Most important sections are herb garden, the botanical parks, Victoria House, Edward Anderson's greenhouse, fruit and berry plantations.

The museum has a permanent exhibition showing travelling libraries, parish libraries study circle libraries within the Good Templar, workers, farmers and revivalists movement and other objects and also occasional exhibitions
