The American Swedish Historical Museum is located in South Philadelphia, U.S.A. It is the oldest Swedish Museum in U.S.A. and was founded in 1926. The Museum is preserving and promoting Swedish and Swedish-American cultural heritage and traditions. The Museum building was designed by the Swedish-American architect John Nyden. The Museum consists of 12 permanent galleries, one changing exhibition gallery, and a library.
