The Museum shows the settlers' strenuous life in a bare country with no roads - about need, hunger and sorrow, but also about happiness and contentment. Contains old buildings from the 17th 18th and 19th centuries and about 18,000 objects of the peasants' culture as well as from the Saami culture.
