Sarek is situated in the northwestern part of Lapland. This National Park represents the essence of wild untouched nature with deeply cut valleys, vast mountain plateaus, sharp peaks and huge glaciers. Sarek’s largest valley is Rapadalen that has dense stands of mountain birch forest, willow and mountain flora. The park is extremely inaccessible and not suitable for novices.
