'Prince Eugen was one of his generation's foremost landscape painters and many of his best-known works, including Molnet (the Cloud) and Det gamla slottet (The Old Castle), are part of the collections at Waldemarsudde. Prince Eugen was also an art collector and his collection of Swedish turn-of-the-19th-century art is one of the foremost in the country.'

'Has over 50 000 objects in its collections and the museum is the biggest of its kind in Sweden. The exhibition spans five rooms and has exciting scenography, which presents various aspects of design history. Has collections of furniture, industrial design, posters, textiles, ceramics, glass and lots more, our thirty one different environments chronicle the development of the art of design in the last 150 years.'

Wanås Castle was built in the 15th century as a fortress on the border of Scania and Småland. Since 1987 international exhibitions of contemporary art have taken place at Wanås. Artists exhibit their work in the park, in the barn and in the stable.
